Plaid Creature

Made this last week using FCP7 and Magic Bullet Colorista. Mainly I was just experimenting with Colorista. It’s pretty simplistic/versatile.

Anyhow, tried to give it that 70s vintage coloring.

As some of you may know by now, my computers both kicked the bucket last week. First was the Powerbook that Dr. Echo Bloom gave me last year. Then the following day, the mission critical desktop bit the dust. I haven’t figured out exactly what went wrong with either machine, but I did get my desktop back up and running on Sunday with a considerable upgrade to boot.

With a fresh set of guts in this computer, I immediately resumed work on some video projects. The first is a short teaser for Free Riders, filmed with a crappy little point and shoot camera. I also whipped up some quick and dirty music to go along with it. I’m curious what you all think about it, so please give it a look and then leave some comments for me. Does the music fit the action?
