There are a ton of brushes to use, especially when you're screwin' around with tablets and what not. I rarely have to use any brushes considering my painting techinique is VERY limited, I usually stick to cel shading. The composition of this piece is off the chain. I love the style, and the feel of it all. I'd shoot myself with frustration attempting something like this. That’s why photoshop is so fun. I have a hard time getting them to come out exactly right though. I still havent found the perfect brush for myself yet. Permanent Marker is still my favorite brush. For the most part yeah. This is really cool. I especially like the crop of smaller Mastroianni's you've collected along the side. That picture you have of him nibbling the girl's chin was a good choice. It cleverly disguises the edge of your frame. Though I can see your point about the big Mastroianni's necktie. It must be more difficult doing a pattern with just Marcello heads. I was going to ask about color too before I saw your last sentence. Maybe it helps to create these with the idea of coloring in mind. Chinese fried rice with pork? Hilarious. Great post, doctor.
